Vanguard Controls Group
Most schedules fail in the gap between the Gantt chart and the field. I've worked both sides of that gap.
I started as a union pipefitter, earned my AWS CWI, and ran QC on major refinery capital programs. Then I moved into owner-side project controls, building and running integrated master schedules across large capital portfolios: refineries, pipelines, and utility generation.
Today I run Vanguard Controls Group, serving owners, contractors, and counsel on capital projects.
Services
Integrated master schedule development (Primavera P6)
Owner-side master schedules built and maintained in Primavera P6, integrating engineering, procurement, and construction into a single logic-driven plan.
Schedule health assessments and baseline validation
Independent review of contractor and internal schedules for logic integrity, unrealistic durations, and baseline soundness.
Monthly updates, progress reporting, and executive narrative
Routine schedule updates paired with clear, non-technical narrative reporting for executives and stakeholders.
Schedule risk analysis
Quantitative and qualitative assessment of schedule risk to identify exposure before it becomes delay.
Forensic delay analysis and claims support
EOT requests, time impact analysis, and windows analysis, prepared per AACE RP 29R-03 for claims support.
Regulatory and PSC filing schedule support
Schedule documentation and support for regulatory and Public Service Commission filings on capital programs.
I've fit the pipe, inspected the welds, and built the logic. When your schedule says three days, I know whether the field agrees.
